چکیده
Hierarchical crystals with short diffusion path, conventional microcrystals and nanocrystals of ZSM-5 zeolites were used for biodiesel production from waste frying oils assessed their catalytic activity in regard to pore structure acidic properties. Produced characterized using XRD, nitrogen adsorption–desorption, SEM, TEM, X-ray fluorescence, FTIR. Pore size effect on molecular limitation was by Thiele modulus calculations turnover frequencies (TOF) discuss the correlation between character performance zeolites. Owing enhanced accessibility mass transfer triglycerides free fatty acids elemental active zeolitic structure, nanosponge nanosheet hierarchical highest. A maximum yield 48.29% reached transesterification (WFOs) HZSM-5 nanosheets at 12:1 methanol WFOs molar ratio, 180 °C, 10 wt % catalyst loading, 4 h reaction time. Although nanosponges achieved high conversions, these more hydrophilic did not function according entire strength comparison nanosheets. NSh-HZSM5 still after consecutive cycles as a result zeolite regeneration.

Biodiesel Production From Rapeseed Oil With Waste Frying Oils
Biodiesel or fatty acids alkyl esters (FAAE) of long chain are an alternative fuel produced by a transesterification process. The potential production of biodiesel from rapeseed oil in Chile is associated to the solution of economic, environmental and social problems. Experiences from other countries have demonstrated that biodiesel prices are higher than diesel, due to the high costs of the ra...
متن کاملOptimization of Biodiesel Production Process from Restaurant Waste Frying Oils in the Presence of Homogeneous Catalyst
Background and Objective: Because of the importance of the role of energy in the world and nonrenewability of fossil fuels and caused environmental issues by these fuels in recent years, many studies have been conducted to find an appropriate alternative to fossil fuels in different countries of the world. Biofuels such as (biodiesel and bioethanol) have been introduced as one of the most desir...
متن کاملPredicting the higher heating values of waste frying oils as potential biodiesel feedstock
In the literature, there are several empirical models to estimate the higher heating values of vegetable oils and biodiesel fuels. In this study, five of these models found in the literature were used to estimate the higher heating value of waste frying oils. When some models are used to estimate HHVs of waste frying oils, the relative errors were found up to 5% compared to the values obtained ...
متن کاملProduction of Biodiesel from Different Edible Oils
Different vegetable oil based biodiesel (FAMES) were prepared by alkaline transesterification using refined oils as well as waste frying oil (WFO). Methanol and sodium hydroxide are used as catalyst under similar reaction conditions. To ensure the quality of biodiesel produced, a series of different ASTM Standard tests were carried out. In this context, various testwere done including viscosity...
متن کاملNon-Edible Plant Oils as New Sources for Biodiesel Production
Due to the concern on the availability of recoverable fossil fuel reserves and the environmental problems caused by the use those fossil fuels, considerable attention has been given to biodiesel production as an alternative to petrodiesel. However, as the biodiesel is produced from vegetable oils and animal fats, there are concerns that biodiesel feedstock may compete with food supply in the lo...
